First, I think I got more out of the paragraph titles than the actual paragraphs. But what really caught me was the last paragraph that states “the central metaphor of our current society is the network…efficient networks for spreading change and prosperity are already in place. We just have to grasp them.” I find this highly relevant to my personal project this semester as it is a program that will start small and spread through the network of blogs and tweets and old-fashioned word of mouth. The question is now- not how will the program spread, but what will it end up looking like? How can I ‘foster community’ in designing this project beyond just the four people who are in this class?
