I tried a few new binding techniques, one straight from Keith Smith’s book, one from the book that I modified, and a stab binding totally made up on my own. I also experimented with adding glass beads to the binding. I was a little frustrated with how the modified pattern turned out; I had miscalculated the space needed and therefore had to adapt the pattern to something else. I think it turned out looking like spiders. Not so much the look I was going for. Oh well, lesson learned.

I should have another book finished soon; the hemp twine I devised for the binding began to break apart. So I need to hunt down an alternative…
