I’ve been busy with a lot of things these past couple of months, not the least of which was an intensive French course paid for by the French government, as part of my visa requirements, and all the visits, appointments, and paperwork necessary to purchase an apartment in France (So. Many. Documents.). But here’s a sneak peak of what I’ve been very slowly working on. Hopefully I will be able to complete the project sometime soon!

Hi Rebecca, what sort of drill press do you use? Is it expensive when we’re are not a professional? Thanks a lot. Gaëlle

Hi Gaëlle! Most drill presses are huge and fairly expensive, but I found this set up to be much easier. It’s just a Dremel tool with a special stand to turn it into a press. There are many varieties of Dremel, in a range of prices. I like the option of more than one speed, so I went for the middle range (about €60-70). The stand itself I bought from Amazon.fr (and longer ago from Amazon.com) which I think was about €30. Plus, a Dremel has many other uses, so it’s a great tool to have!
