I’ve started a series of animal stab binds, just to see how many I can create and how recognizable they are. Next up, elephants and a lion!

This giraffe bind has 55 holes and is only complicated in the middle, as the holes look random when unsewn and knowing which is which is a bit tricky. Otherwise it’s pretty straightforward! It would make a cute baby book/picture album.

It’s half written! I’m actually thinking about releasing it with several other patterns as an ebook. Still checking into how to do that though.

Did you ever release that e-book? I looked for it but couldn’t find it :(
I just finished one book with the “Tiara” pattern. It is a beautiful pattern, thank you for sharing it.
I am really interested in making the Giraffe and the elephants, are you still willing to share these patterns?
        Thank you so much,
        Maria

Ahhh…no, unfortunately. Life happened, as it usually does. I did pull that project out of the closet recently, but haven’t had a chance to work on it yet. But the more that I know people would like to see it, the more motivated I am to get it done!

This is wonderful. Did you ever figure out how to create that e-book? I am interested in this pattern in particular but everything you make is very creative and unique.

No, I moved house and had a baby and lost motivation, ha. The samples and tutorial graphics are only half finished, though the written instructions are finished. Maybe one day…

I sent you another message but I don’t think it went through. I looked all over for the e-book, no wonder now why I couldn’t find it 🙂 🙂
Are you still willing to share the patterns for the Giraffe and elephants? I just finished your Tiara pattern and loved it.
        Thank you so much,
        Maria

      Hi Teejay,
Ehh…I had a baby and got addicted to knitting, so my bookbinding projects are gathering dust. I do have the tutorial notes written, just haven’t finished the graphic. One day…

I hope to publish them at some point but I’m not sure yet when that will be.

I’m very interested in that giraffe pattern. Any ETA?

😅 hopefully in the next few months. I’ve just completed a house move and everything is in complete disarray.

I was going to try and develop the pattern myself but it just got too hard for me. :) There are certainly enough other patterns to use in the meantime. Congrats on the new home!

I just love your designs. I’ve already tried the kissing fish and would like to try a few other. Just wondering if I can get some of these designs with or without diagrams. I would like to try Lunaria, Diamond, Dovetail, Double Arrows Elephants and Giraffe. I tried sending an email, but never got a response. Thank you kindly!
